Brindiwell Medal Wins at the International English Wine Awards

Brindiwell Medal Wins at the International English Wine Awards

We are absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news: Brindiwell has won medals at the International English Wine Awards (IEWA) — and we couldn't be more proud.

🥈 Silver Medal — 2023 Pinot Noir Rosé

Our 2023 Pinot Noir Rosé has been awarded a Silver Medal at the IEWA. This beautiful wine, pale copper pink, dry and refreshing, with notes of white blossom, redcurrant and crushed raspberry, was made in small quantities (just 1,677 bottles). We expect to sell out this summer.

Judges Notes:

"Generous, beautifully textured rosé that combines juicy fruit and refreshing acidity in a style that's polished and immensely drinkable."

"Summer in a glass."

🥉 Bronze Medal — 2022 Blanc de Noirs

Our 2022 Blanc de Noirs has been awarded a Bronze Medal at the IEWA. This elegant sparkling wine, made using traditional method with 26 months on lees, showcases beautiful floral notes, bright red fruit, and a long, fresh finish. Less than 400 bottles are currently available.

Judges Notes:

"A bright, apple-led sparkling wine with lively, mouthwatering acidity. Fresh and energetic."

"Red apple, with intense palate and electric acidity. My mouth is watering."

A word from us

Winning recognition at the IEWA means a great deal to us. English wine is having a remarkable moment, and to see Brindiwell's wines stand alongside the best in the country is deeply rewarding. Every bottle is the result of careful, patient work in the vineyard and the winery, and awards like these remind us why it's all worthwhile.

Both medal-winning wines are available to order now. We'd love for you to taste what the judges experienced.
